How often do you have services?

We have services every Friday evening.

We hold Saturday morning service every Saturday from the first Saturday after Labor day in September through the end of June.

Who is Temple Emanuel's Rabbi?

Rabbi Yael Romer is our Rabbi and Spiritual Leader.

How many members does Temple Emanuel have?

We currently have 230+ families.

What do I get for my membership dues?

You get 160 years of Temple!  You get to stand on the shoulders of those who came before us, and you now become a pillar of Temple Emanuel to stand on for another 160 years.  They didn't know who you would be, they just knew they wanted to support Temple Emanuel into the future.

Additionally, on top of the regular benefits of membership like High Holy Day tickets, you get access to our renowned Religious School, discounts to special events and more. Our Rabbi, staff, and members will be there to support you through life's challenges and joys. You will also be supporting our synagogue and the great programs we offer. Our members find they get back much more than they pay for.

How do I join Temple Emanuel?

Pick up an application in our main office, or print and fill out our application on our website and return it to the main office.  Or call our Temple Administrator at (845) 338-4271 x 101 and she'll guide you through the process.

What if I can't afford membership dues?

We have dues reductions available for anyone who needs it. Contact our bookkeeper, Regina Melnik at (845) 338-4271x103 for more information. No one will be turned away due to their inability to pay.
