What a Jewish Community Can Be

A welcoming and giving reform congregation committed to social justice, on-going learning, vibrant spirituality, diversity and the State of Israel
Yom Rishon, 4 Tishri 5778

There are many paths to community.  At Temple Emanuel, we encourage you to join us for our events and to get involved with one or more of our wonderful and hard working committees.

Congregants can choose from a wide range of groups and activities, including Youth Group, Sisterhood, Brotherhood, Social Action and Caring Community Committee.  Contact the office for more information or speak to one of our committee chairs directly to learn more about connecting with these and other committees.

Life Long Learning is another wonderful way to become connected to our community.

Educational programming at Temple Emanuel offers opportunities for congregants at all levels of experience and backgrounds to engage in a journey of learning and spiritual growth. Members of all ages are challenged to think, question and contribute creatively to our common journey.

Our Adult Education offerings by Rabbi Romer include a variety of courses for adults throughout the week, month and year.  In addition to our ongoing adult education programs which includes a monthly Rabbi's Lunch, a weekly Hebrew Trope class and weekly Meditation & Study group, Rabbi also offers new courses each year as well as individual sessions, and adult B'nai Mitzvah programs.

Our esteemed Leonard & Barbara Zimet Religious School is for school age children from Pre-Kindergarten up to High School, and includes a comprehensive B'nai Mitzvah and Confirmation Program.
